Randy Ahlm has led dozens of projects across the M&A lifecycle.  Below are a few examples of his past work.

  • Developed target screening approach that helped international food processor develop a list of prioritized acquisition targets.
  • Led the integration of two plastic container manufacturers that merged to form an $800 million company with 102 facilities across North America.  Identified and implemented over $20 million in annual synergy savings.
  • Facilitated branding strategy and developed sales channel integration plans for a $25 million national furniture manufacturer’s acquisition of a regional competitor.
  • Advised a global chemical company on a strategy for executing divestitures including key strategic issues, carve outs, service level agreements and implementation planning.
  • Led the integration of two information technology companies for a major aerospace and defense company with a combined $4 billion in annual revenue and 22,000 employees.  Helped senior management  redesign their organizational structure and implement over $30 million in annual synergies.
  • Helped a $3 billion manufacturing and construction company consolidate 38 acquisitions into 24 business units.
  • Led the integration of three shipyards for a major aerospace and defense company with a combined $4 billion in annual revenue and over 35,000 employees.  Identified and implemented over 100 synergy projects that generated $150 million in annual savings.
  • Developed the internal merger integration capability for a $2 billion specialty chemicals manufacturer that streamlined their integration process and created the capability to accelerate acquisition growth strategy. 
  • Led the merger integration of the top two airline in-flight entertainment companies.  Developed and implemented integration plans that generated $73 million in annual synergies. 
  • Led the integration of an electronic tactical weapons business for a major aerospace electronics company.  Identified $250 million in annual revenue synergies and $80 million in annual cost savings synergies.
  • Developed the internal M&A capability for a $3 billion manufacturing and construction company including M&A strategy, target screening, due diligence and integration.
  • Advised a $4 billion dollar industrial and electronic manufacturer on two international acquisitions in Germany and Korea.
